The 90th CMEF Medical Expo will be held in Shenzhen on October 12th
Since its first event in 1979 and after 45 years of development, CMEF has grown into a global comprehensive service platform covering the entire industry chain and lifecycle, integrating product technology, new product launches, trade cooperation, and academic exchanges. It is known as the "barometer" of the global medical industry.
This year's CMEF gathers cutting-edge medical technology achievements from around the world, with 14 exhibition areas including medical imaging, in vitro diagnostics, medical electronics, medical optics, hospital construction, operating rooms, disinfection and control, medical consumables, orthopedics, etc., presenting a panoramic view of the entire medical industry chain.
The medical robot exhibition area is CMEF's "star exhibition area", which has attracted much attention since its launch in 2022. This year's CMEF will showcase multiple domestically developed new products, including four arm endoscopic surgical robots, fully orthopedic surgical assistance robots, orthopedic joint surgical robots that can cover both hip and knee joints, and the first domestically approved navigation+automatic execution orthopedic intelligent surgical system.
The operating room exhibition area has always been a hot topic of concern in the medical field. The keywords of this exhibition area are "minimally invasive, intelligent, and efficient". New integrated operating rooms, digital composite operating rooms, remote operating rooms based on 5G technology, ventilators, anesthesia machines, integrated solutions for operating room/ICU equipment, as well as emergency equipment and solutions for operating rooms based on advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things, will be introduced one by one.
It is worth noting that this year's CMEF will also hold sub brand exhibitions in a series of hot fields such as "Medical Device Design and Manufacturing", "Smart Health", "Emergency Rescue", "Pet Health", etc., providing an international platform for the global medical and health industry to showcase, exchange, and cooperate, and creating a full industry chain ecosystem covering from the source to the end. As a sub brand launched by CMEF Innovation, the 37th China International Medical Device Design and Manufacturing Technology Exhibition (ICMD) focuses on the upstream supply chain of medical device manufacturing. The exhibits mainly include intelligent technologies related to medical device manufacturing, such as intelligent manufacturing, UDI, industrial automation plants, embedded chips, etc. These new technologies have broad application prospects and will push medical device manufacturing to a new stage of intelligence, efficiency, and precision. At that time, more than 500 domestic and foreign brand enterprises and over 10000 products will be showcased together.
The trend of domestic pharmaceutical and medical equipment companies going global is continuing, and the CMEF held in Shenzhen is timely. In the first half of this year, private enterprises in the fields of biomedicine and medical devices in Shenzhen achieved foreign trade exports of 11.85 billion yuan, accounting for over 60% of the total. The export data of many high-end medical device products is leading in the country. As a highland of China's innovative pharmaceutical and medical equipment industry, the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area has become a highland for China's high-end medical equipment to "go global" with its geographical advantages and high degree of international integration.
This year's CMEF International Exhibition Area will welcome representatives from more than 20 countries and regions, including Germany, the United States, Canada, and Hong Kong, China, to exhibit new products. According to the organizers, the pre registration count of international visitors for this year's CMEF has doubled compared to the same period last year. It is expected to attract international professional visitors from over 150 countries and regions around the world, and the CMEF exhibition will become a high-quality "incubator" for global commerce, helping to "introduce" and "go global" new products.
